Rich Fabend

Rich, who is 68 years old, lives in northern New York in the USA with his wife Marge. On vacation in 1999 on the island of St. John in the U. S. Virgin Islands, while standing in waist-deep water, he was caught in a breaking wave and driven to the bottom. The resulting four breaks in his neck leaving him a C6 complete quadriplegic.  Rich continues to enjoy life participating in most outdoor activities he loved prior to his accident and managing the website he created to help other individuals with disabilities (www.handihelp.net).
David Jarrold

David is the Director of the Blackwood Foundation and his challenge is to turn the organisation from an idea to a sustainable reality.  David has a track record in housing, community regeneration and social enterprise and has created and developed variety of business.

 

 

Keith Ferguson

Keith Ferguson is a bi-lateral lower limb amputee having had surgery in 1956 and 1974. He is now almost 60 and continues to have an active life. His earlier career was in the logistics industry however since 2006 he has been involved in many projects such as working for the Citizens Advice Bureau and an as independent advocate for the Murray Foundation. Currently he is also chairman of the Edinburgh Limb Loss Association and the Scottish Disabled Supporters Association as well as secretary of the Heart of Midlothian Disabled Supporters Club.
